  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 red bell peppers, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 cup snow peas
  • 1/2 cup carrots, julienned
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh ginger, grated

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, garlic, and ginger to create the marinade. Add the beef and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat sesame oil and vegetable oil in a wok over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated beef in batches until browned; set aside.
  3. In the same wok, sauté onions for about 3 minutes. Then add bell peppers and carrots; cook until crisp-tender.
  4. Stir in broccoli and snow peas and cook until bright and crisp.
  5. Return beef to the wok and pour in any remaining marinade. Whisk cornstarch with water and add to thicken the sauce.
  6. Serve hot over steamed rice.
