12 oz ribeye or sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tbsp olive oil
8 oz shell pasta
3 tbsp unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Prepare the pasta by boiling salted water and cooking the shell pasta until al dente. Reserve some pasta water before draining.
Season the steak bites with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Sear in a hot skillet until they are golden brown; then set aside.
In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and simmer until thickened; whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
Combine the drained pasta and seared steak with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for consistency. Serve hot.
