  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 4 cups fresh or frozen corn kernels
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

  1. Season shrimp with olive oil, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat; sauté onions until translucent (5-7 minutes).
  3. Add garlic; cook for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in flour; cook for 1-2 minutes to create a roux.
  5. Gradually whisk in heavy cream until smooth; season with sugar, salt, and cayenne pepper.
  6. Simmer on low for 10-15 minutes until thickened.
  7. Stir in corn; cook for another 5-7 minutes.
  8. In another skillet, heat olive oil and cook seasoned shrimp until pink (2-3 minutes per side).
  9. Combine shrimp with creamed corn mixture and serve garnished with parsley.
