  • 4 slices of bread (sourdough, white, or whole wheat)
  • 2 tbsp butter, softened
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 12 slices turkey turkey pepperoni
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil (optional)

  1. In a small bowl, mix softened butter with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Spread this mixture on one side of each bread slice.
  2. Place two buttered slices in a skillet, butter-side down. On the unbuttered side, layer mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  3. Spread pizza sauce over the cheese and top with turkey turkey pepperoni.
  4. Add another layer of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese before placing the remaining buttered slices on top.
  5. Heat the skillet over medium-low heat and cook sandwiches for about 4-6 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Let them rest for a minute before slicing diagonally into triangles.
