  • Instructions for Preparation:

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, salt, and yeast. In another bowl, combine warm milk, melted butter, and beaten eggs. Gradually mix wet ingredients into dry until shaggy dough forms.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 6-8 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in an oiled bowl to rise in a warm spot until doubled (about 1 to 1.5 hours).
  3. For the filling, mix diced peaches with sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
  4. Cream softened butter with brown sugar and cinnamon for the cinnamon-sugar filling.
  5. Roll out risen dough into a rectangle; spread the cinnamon-sugar filling and peach mixture evenly over it before rolling tightly.
  6. Cut into 12 equal pieces and place in a greased baking dish to rise again (30-45 minutes).
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for about 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool slightly; prepare frosting by beating cream cheese with softened butter, then mixing in powdered sugar and milk until smooth.
