  1. Pound each chicken breast between plastic wrap until even thickness.
  2. Mix garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, thyme, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper to create the spice rub; coat both sides of the chicken.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for about 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Ensure chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C), then cover loosely with foil.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds.
  6. Add chicken broth and lemon juice; simmer while scraping browned bits from the pan.
  7. Reduce sauce for about 5–7 minutes until thickened; stir in remaining butter.
  8. Serve chicken topped with sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.
