  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 2 cups cooked rice (short-grain preferred)
  • Fresh vegetables (cucumber, carrots, green onions, etc.)

  1. In a large skillet, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess grease.
  2. Stir in minced garlic and ginger; sauté for about one minute.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, gochujang, and rice vinegar. Pour the sauce over the beef mixture and simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
  4. Serve over cooked rice and top with fresh vegetables of your choice.
