  • Frosting ingredients: unsalted butter, powdered sugar, heavy cream or whole milk, gel food coloring, candy eyeballs

  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line muffin pans with liners.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time followed by vanilla.
  5. Gradually mix in dry ingredients and milk alternately until just combined.
  6. Fill cupcake liners two-thirds full and bake for 18–22 minutes. Cool completely.
  7. For frosting, beat butter until fluffy; gradually add powdered sugar and cream until desired consistency.
  8. Divide frosting for color; pipe onto cooled cupcakes and decorate with candy eyeballs.
