  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

  4. Remove steaks from the refrigerator about 15 minutes before cooking.
  5. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Sear the steaks without moving them for about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Reduce heat to medium and cook until desired doneness (3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare).
  7. Remove from pan and let rest loosely tented with foil.
  8. In the same pan over low heat, melt butter, add minced garlic, and cook until fragrant (about 30 seconds). Stir in any optional add-ins if using.
  9. Pour the garlic butter sauce over sliced steaks and serve.
