  1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 6 tablespoons of butter and sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  2. Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, and rice vinegar; simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in sesame oil and red pepper flakes (if desired).
  4. Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions; drain well.
  5. Combine noodles with the garlic butter sauce in the skillet, tossing gently.
  6. Add remaining butter and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds; top with a fried egg if desired.
