  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed French onion soup
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 (16 ounce) can large refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 8 slices provolone cheese, halved
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked.
  2. Add chopped onion and cook until softened; then stir in minced garlic.
  3. Stir in the condensed soups, water, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and black pepper.
  4. Cover and simmer for about 15-20 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  6. Flatten each biscuit from the refrigerated dough; place two tablespoons of filling and half a slice of cheese on each.
  7. Fold biscuits over the filling and pinch edges to seal tightly.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Brush with melted butter mixed with parsley flakes before serving.
