  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • Optional toppings: sesame seeds, sliced cucumber, kimchi, pickled vegetables

  1. Mince garlic and ginger; chop green onions.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef until browned (5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat.
  3. Add garlic, ginger, and white parts of green onions; sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil; simmer for 1 minute. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve the beef mixture over rice and garnish with green onion tops and optional toppings.
