  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together ranch dressing mix and condensed soup until smooth.
  3. Add milk or broth to the mixture and whisk until combined.
  4. Pour the sauce over the chicken, ensuring even coverage.
  5. Cut cream cheese into cubes and place on top of the sauce.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until tender.
