  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • ½ cup heavy cream

  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat; cook chicken until browned (6–8 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  4. Sauté chopped onion in the same skillet for about 5 minutes; add minced garlic for another minute.
  5. Stir in cream of mushroom soup, milk, Parmesan cheese, black pepper, thyme, oregano, and remaining salt; simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Add cooked chicken and heavy cream; simmer for an additional 2–3 minutes.
  7. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions; drain and reserve some pasta water.
  8. Combine fettuccine with sauce in the skillet; toss until well-coated.
