  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup (10.75 ounces)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 8 ounces fettuccine pasta
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

  1. Season cubed chicken with salt and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; cook chicken until browned and cooked through (6–8 minutes).
  3. Add chopped onion and sauté until softened (about 5 minutes).
  4. Stir in minced garlic; cook for an additional minute.
  5. Add cream of mushroom soup, milk, Parmesan, black pepper, thyme, oregano, and salt; whisk until smooth.
  6. Simmer the sauce for about five minutes over low heat.
  7. Incorporate cooked chicken and heavy cream into the sauce; simmer for another couple of minutes.
  8. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions and drain, reserving some pasta water.
  9. Combine pasta with sauce in the skillet; toss gently and adjust sauce consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
  10. Serve warm with fresh parsley garnish.
