  • 2 tablespoons fresh thyme
  • Salt and coarsely ground black pepper to taste

  5. Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream; season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. In a separate pot, boil salted water and cook gnocchi until they float (about 2–3 minutes). Remove with a slotted spoon.
  7. Combine cooked gnocchi with the creamy sauce in the skillet, tossing gently to coat.
