  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • 1½ cups powdered sugar
  • 1½ ounces whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup black cocoa powder
  • 1 box instant chocolate fudge pudding mix (3.4 oz)
  • ½ cup salted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in the peanut butter until well combined.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cocoa powders, powdered milk, and salt. Gradually incorporate this dry mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Use a cookie scoop to portion out dough balls onto the prepared baking sheets about two inches apart. Gently press down with a fork to create a crosshatch pattern.
  6. Bake for 9-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers are still soft. Let cool on the baking sheet for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
