  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • 1 large onion
  • Crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup cashew nuts
  • Garlic, ginger, and a blend of spices (garam masala, turmeric, cumin)

  1. Marinate chicken cubes with yogurt, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, and spices for at least 2 hours.
  2. In a pot, heat butter and olive oil; sauté onions until translucent. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until fragrant.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes and heavy cream; mix well. Blend soaked cashews with water until smooth and add to the sauce.
  4. Season the sauce with additional spices and sugar; let simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes.
  5. Grill marinated chicken skewers until cooked through; then combine with the sauce to meld flavors together.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
