  3. In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until mostly smooth. Stir in melted butter, eggs, sugars, and vanilla until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt for even distribution.
  5. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. Add any optional mix-ins.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 55 to 65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow cooling in the pan for about 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
