  5. Mash bananas in a separate bowl until mostly smooth; fold into the wet mixture.
  6. Combine the wet and dry ingredients carefully until just mixed; fold in optional add-ins like chocolate chips or dried fruits.
  7. Pour batter into prepared pan and spread evenly; bake for about 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
